You'll get invited to our Meetups as soon as they're scheduled!
We have a meetup or post round or mini playing match play so people are familiar with the team format in 2010
This would be like playing cali in dubs except everyone would get to rethrow once per hole if they choose to. It can be a drive, an approach, or a putt. If you rethrow you must take the second shot and cannot choose the better of the 2. So make that second shot count!
Second drive aces would not count towards the ace pot but would count as a 1 on your score, and you can brag about it after the round.
We could play on a kid friendly course like Wells Branch or San Gabriel and everyone that wants to can bring a child with them. We could have cards of six with three kids and three adults per card and maybe even play some kind of doubles....and CTP's could be kid only for the day.
play the new Bee Caves course in march.
So I was thinking if there was one day a week that every week a group can meet up for a quick round during the week. I can do pretty much every wednesday or thursday. Sound interesting? Anyone else got a day they can meet up early before the "REAL WORLD"
While playing in OKC, one of the problems that the courses had was degradation. missing baskets, erosion, pallets thrown into the mud for crossing or nailed together for bridges falling apart etc. Several of the local players brought this up that they had two DG Clubs in town and different courses were adopted by different clubs, and some courses had no club supervision. I was thinking wow only two clubs? Centex has SADA, Waterloo, Ducks, Round Rock Dragons, and Earlybirds. Has anyone thought about having a casual meet and greet round with the all the other clubs in the area? Heck, Temple has an active club for their two courses and we seem to be growing into each other as far as disc golf goes. What could we accomplish as a single senate so to speak for Discgolf in general for central texas?
