From Kevin,

"Thanks to the effort of Manny Gonzales we will have all the needed materials to fix up the Rivery Park!!!

Now it's time to get the work in.. First work day will be Sunday, November 1st at 9am.

I have 1 Pick Axe, 2 Shovels, 1 Rake, 1 branch/briar cutter, 1 fold out saw, 4 5gallon buckets, 1 scraper (for the targets) and some sand paper..

We will surely need more tools and we REALLY NEED someone with a Golf Cart / Mule or whatever they are called. Moving granite gravel a bucket at a time is a unique form of torture.

Get with Manny Gonzales or with me if you have questions or have tools/supplies you can bring.

I will go ahead and get the date official from the PDGA for Sunday, December 13th...

Thanks,

Kevin"

that would be nice to do shannon. appreciate everyone who has signed up so far to help. weather is supposed to be awesome. will get the wife to get us some G2's and waters for when we are out there. Maybe some snicky snacks as well to keep the energy up. After a few of us play the course on saturday, maybe more will sign up. would like a good turnout by the EB's to go with the Double R's. Also posted on the Waterloo site, maybe some of those folks will show.

Here is a link to the map which is current with accurate distances: http://www.dgcoursereview.c... I played today and there are mounds of crushed granite at most of the front nine tees and a large mound between #3 and #4.

John -- Not sure if we will have materials by the 1st. So, we will be there long enough to scrape, paint, and number the goals. Mark the tee boxes with blue tops and measure the distances of the holes.

Tee for hole 1 may be tricky, but itll be aight. Its nice that Holes 1,2,3,4,17,18 are all somewhat close to each other.

Also, bring some tape measures so we can measure out the size of the tee boxes.

May talk to my neighbor, he has a 4 wheeler he never uses, sitting in his garage. anyone have one of those knobby tire trailers/wagons to hitch to the 4 wheeler. i got the ok from Eric at GTPARD to use a motorized vehicle to transport material if Im careful.
