Don't know about a tamper, but I gave Manny some money to feed the workers.
that would be nice to do shannon. appreciate everyone who has signed up so far to help. weather is supposed to be awesome. will get the wife to get us some G2's and waters for when we are out there. Maybe some snicky snacks as well to keep the energy up. After a few of us play the course on saturday, maybe more will sign up. would like a good turnout by the EB's to go with the Double R's. Also posted on the Waterloo site, maybe some of those folks will show.
Does anyone have a tamper to pack the granite with? If not can we use some acepot money to rent one or more from Home Depot?
thanks for the heads up shannon.
Here is a link to the map which is current with accurate distances: http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course_files/883/c2fbdc90.p...
I played today and there are mounds of crushed granite at most of the front nine tees and a large mound between #3 and #4.
Played out there today, which holes are what. they are marked X but they are hole Y. ex. 4 is 1. whats the official hole layout. anyone got a map. will check the GTPARD site.
John -- Not sure if we will have materials by the 1st. So, we will be there long enough to scrape, paint, and number the goals. Mark the tee boxes with blue tops and measure the distances of the holes.
Tee for hole 1 may be tricky, but itll be aight. Its nice that Holes 1,2,3,4,17,18 are all somewhat close to each other.
Also, bring some tape measures so we can measure out the size of the tee boxes.
Im bringing extra tools and there will be extra tools there from others bringing them as well so if you dont have any to bring, just bring yourself, any extra help is needed.
May talk to my neighbor, he has a 4 wheeler he never uses, sitting in his garage. anyone have one of those knobby tire trailers/wagons to hitch to the 4 wheeler. i got the ok from Eric at GTPARD to use a motorized vehicle to transport material if Im careful.
Will bring a rake and a shovel, maybe a 5 gallon bucket.
